President, ULTIMATE VACATIONS

When Passport Travel (now Shorts Travel) recruited me to develop their vacation department, I moved there and the Chiefs Fan Trip followed me. In all, I arranged and escorted Chiefs Fan Trips for five seasons. While at Passport Travel I had the pleasure of planning for and escorting 395 George Brett fans to Cooperstown, NY for his induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Along the way I planned and escorted several Incentive and Conference programs on land and at sea. Some of the organizations I had the privilege of working with include American Family Insurance, Kentucky Fried Chicken CARIBLA, Premium Standard Farms, and Creative Marketing International (CMI).

My passion for vacation planning led me to own and operate my own vacation oriented storefront travel agency. By my calculations the only way to be successful in today's environment was to be expert in the destinations and products we sell, and to be available when consumers are. So you will find us to be experienced and knowledgeable at the destinations we promote and sell, and be open 6-days a week, with evening hours for your convenience. 

Having my son, Justin follow in my footsteps and display the interest and dedication he does in the vacation business is a dream come true that only a proud father can understand. My wife, Carol keeps us in line with back office and behind the scenes support. In this age of mega agencies, publicly-held online monsters, closings, down sizing, mergers, acquisitions, and constant turnover of personnel, it is a real treat to be a family operation where we actually know our clients, assist them with our constant and ongoing travel experience, and yet offer them 24/7 service through the latest technology on our web site. Our clients can book their vacation when we are not in the office and still know that we will give them all the care that they would receive if they were sitting in front of us.

In October 2006 I was recognized in front of over 200 colleagues by Funjet Vacations as recipient of the inaugural Funjet First Award, in recognition of displaying the highest level of product and destination knowledge, and customer care. That honor bestowed two gifts. First, I now sit on the Funjet First Advisory Board along with 11 other winners, each representing our region of the country.

I love to travel, as do you, I suppose. I will continue to post my travel experiences and pictures right here on this site. Over the past few years I have cruised the Hawaiian Islands; Toured Kauai and Maui with the Visitors Bureau's; Toured Alaska and the Yukon Territory on a 12-Night CruiseTour; taken our entire office staff to Jamaica & mexico for hotel and destination inspections; took in Sandals new developments on St. Lucia, Antigua, Turks & Caicos, and the Bahamas; Experienced Punta Cana, Dominican Republic; and of course continue to experience all of the El Dorado, Excellence and Sandals resorts throughout Mexico and the Caribbean.

Since January 2013 I have had the annual pleasure to organize and escort the Mix 93.3 Morning Crew of Rocket, Teresa & Steve Serrano along with a group of their listeners to the Riviera Maya, Mexico for a fabulous week at El Dorado Royale.

I am very pleased to announce that I have earned Destination Specialist certification for both Maui and Kauai after extensive on-site training throught the respective Tourism Boards. These experiences have been so valuable to our clients own Hawaii experiences. Somehow I continue to be one of Funjet Vacations top producing agents inspite of a good dose of travel. I am very happy to say that we have located and acquired the services of several top quality vacation specialists throughout the U.S., whom we value very much.
